Mindful Tanning was founded on a simple belief: every woman deserves to feel beautiful, confident, and completely at home in her skin.
I founded Mindful Tanning in 2021, where I offer luxury custom spray tans from a private Torrance studio, as well as mobile appointments across the south bay and Los Angeles including Manhattan Beach, Hermosa Beach, Redondo Beach, and Palos Verdes.
Every appointment is thoughtfully customized to your skin tone, glow goals, and comfort level—creating a result that feels natural, radiant, and uniquely yours.
Not like a different version of myself, just more connected to the woman I already was.
That experience stayed with me and eventually became the inspiration behind Mindful Tanning: a luxury spray tanning experience designed to help women feel confident, cared for, and completely at home in their skin.

Hi, I'm Evelyn Reyes, the artist behind Mindful Tanning.
For as long as I can remember, I've been passionate about helping people.
After spending much of my twenties traveling, I returned to school and earned my degree in Psychology and Human Services with the intention of becoming a therapist. I've always been drawn to creating spaces where people feel seen, supported, and empowered.
Then the pandemic happened.
As I explored what was next, I knew one thing for certain: I still wanted to help people in a meaningful way.
Around that time, I found myself reflecting on one of the few spray tans I had ever received and the lasting impact it had on me.
I still remembered how it made me feel.
No matter what brings you in, my goal is always the same: to create a space where you feel comfortable, supported, confident, and completely at home in your skin.
Where beauty meets confidence
I created Mindful Tanning because I wanted women to experience more than just a beautiful spray tan.
I wanted them to experience what happens when someone takes the time to truly see them.
Today, every appointment begins with a personalized consultation, thoughtful customization, and a genuine conversation about how you want to look and feel.
Some clients come in preparing for a wedding, vacation, photoshoot, or special event. Others simply want a moment to slow down and pour back into themselves.
It's to enhance what already exists, celebrate what makes you unique, and help you leave feeling like the most confident version of yourself.
